To recount the work, here is the Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi Soundtrack to behold. With a CD booklet, it also shows some stills from the film with the introduction of the film's characters.
On a par with the story-telling of Hayao Miyazaki, the great master of animation, the depiction of true-to-life events within a fantasy genre indelibly came along with the original score of Joe Hisaishi—the world-renowned composer who made music for several Studio Ghibli films. Respectively, July 2001 unfolded the prime debut of both the ear-catching OST, released on July 18 and the engrossing animated film which was released on July 20.
Out of the 21 tracks in the list, the most listened to worldwide is the lead-off track "One Summer's Day (あの夏へ/Ano Natsu e)" as displayed by Spotify and Apple Music, two of the world-famous music streaming services. While the music and vocals of the closing theme "Always With Me (いつも何度でも/Itsumo Nandodemo)" is by Youmi Kimura and the lyrics by Wakako Kaku.
